Compact units ship as parcels; large split and multi-split units ship by freight carrier with advance phone notice — kerbside delivery. Please check the shipment for visible transport damage on acceptance and note it with the driver.

The Bosch Solar 5000 TF is used for solar domestic hot water production and (with suitable system design) for heating support. It uses solar thermal energy — not photovoltaics.
How many collectors do I need?
Rule of thumb: ~1.5–2 m² of collector area per person for domestic hot water. For heating support, size the system with a solar planner. Each Bosch Solar 5000 TF provides 2.4 m² of aperture area.
Is installation included?
Installation is not included. We recommend a qualified solar thermal installer for safe roof mounting, hydraulic connection and commissioning.
Can the collector freeze?
No — the collector circuit uses propylene glycol heat transfer fluid (Tyfocor L) and is frost-protected down to −30 °C.
How long is the warranty?
Bosch provides a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the absorber and frame — with professional installation and use of the recommended Bosch components and heat transfer fluid.
