PV modules for residential and commercial use — monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels, MPPT-compatible, ready for grid-tied or hybrid systems. EU shipping with European warranty certificates.
More about solar panels
Module Types: Mono vs. Poly
Monocrystalline modules have higher efficiency (typically 20–22%) and a uniform black appearance — the preferred choice for roof-mounted residential systems where space is limited.
Polycrystalline modules cost less per watt and have slightly lower efficiency (16–18%). A good choice for large surfaces (ground-mount, commercial roofs) where space is not the bottleneck.
Sizing Your System
Rule of thumb for residential: 1 kWp of installed capacity produces roughly 950–1,100 kWh per year in central Europe. An average household consumes 3,500–4,500 kWh/year — a 4–6 kWp system covers most demand. Add a battery for self-consumption beyond 70%.
Roof orientation: south-facing 30–35° tilt = optimal. East/west splits work too, with slightly lower yield but a flatter daily production curve (better for self-use).
Solar Thermal vs. Photovoltaic
Note: this collection lists PV modules (electricity). For solar thermal collectors (hot water/heating support), see our Bosch Solar 4000 TF and 5000 TF flat-plate collectors — different product type.
Installation
PV installation must be carried out by certified electricians — grid connection requires registration with the local DSO (in Germany: Marktstammdatenregister). Roof statics, mounting system, and inverter sizing should be checked by a qualified installer.
EU Shipping
jacobwarm.com ships PV modules across the EU. Delivery 5–10 business days depending on quantity and destination. Pallet shipments require ground-floor unloading access. Free shipping on orders over €100. Questions? office@jacobwarm.com or +49 2421 9341061.
