What is this boiler for?
The Tronic Heat 3500 is an all-electric boiler for radiators or underfloor heating. The 9 kW version is suitable for a house up to ~90 m² — depending on insulation and climate.
Does it also produce domestic hot water?
No — this is a heating-only boiler. For domestic hot water, combine it with a separate electric water heater (e.g. Bosch Tronic 2000/3500) or a hot water cylinder with an immersion heating element.
Can I install it in any flat?
You need a suitable electrical connection: 9 kW boilers require either 1-phase 230 V (for 4–6 kW) or 3-phase 400 V (9 kW and above). A qualified electrician must check whether your existing connection can carry the load.
How does the modulating control work?
The boiler measures the system temperature and matches the heating output precisely to demand across several stages — like a dimmer for heating. The result: stable room temperature and lower energy consumption than with on/off control.
