Installation & operation
Install the outdoor unit on a stable base (concrete plinth or wall bracket) with sufficient airflow. Indoor unit (split version) or hot-water connections (monobloc) by a qualified plumber/heating engineer. Electrical connection by a qualified electrician — check the amperage for each model. An F-Gas certified technician is required for refrigerant work.

Yes — that is the typical application. The Compress 3000 AWS hybrid kit is designed for integration with existing wall-mounted gas or oil boilers, via a system control (separate or as a package).
What house size is it suitable for?
The 12 kW Compress 3000 AWS is suitable for houses up to ~170 m² — depending on insulation, climate and existing boiler output.
Can it also cool?
Yes — heating + reversible cooling from the same outdoor unit. Cooling capacity similar to heating capacity. Underfloor heating recommended for cooling (no condensation problems).
What about hot water?
Hot water production is typically handled by the existing boiler or a separate cylinder. The heat pump can also produce hot water via a cylinder if you want to use the boiler for backup only.
