Bosch Compress 6000 AW
Bosch Compress 6000 AW is a monobloc air-to-water heat pump with an integrated 190-litre domestic hot water cylinder and solar heating coil — heating, cooling and hot water from a single outdoor unit. Inverter-controlled R-32 system with energy class A+++.
Installation & operation
Install the outdoor unit on a stable base (concrete plinth or wall bracket) with sufficient airflow. Indoor unit (split version) or hot-water connections (monobloc) by a qualified plumber/heating engineer. Electrical connection by a qualified electrician — check the amperage for each model. An F-Gas certified technician is required for refrigerant work.
About Bosch Home Comfort
Robert Bosch GmbH was founded in 1886 in Stuttgart. Bosch Home Comfort heat pumps offer proven German engineering and European reliability — designed for the EU heating transition with R-32 refrigerant and high seasonal efficiency.
Legal notice — F-Gas Regulation
Fluorinated greenhouse gases: This appliance contains the refrigerant R-32 (GWP 675 as stated by the manufacturer — refrigerant type, charge and CO₂ equivalent in the product data sheet). Installation, servicing and disposal must be carried out by a certified refrigeration technician in accordance with the F-Gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573 (which replaced Regulation (EU) 517/2014).
Frequently asked questions
What does monobloc mean?
All refrigerant components are inside the outdoor unit — there are no refrigerant lines between outside and inside, only standard water pipes. Simpler and cheaper to install than a split system, with no F-Gas certified pipework required on the indoor side.
What house size is it suitable for?
The 9 kW Compress 6000 AW is suitable for well-insulated houses up to ~130 m² — depending on insulation, climate and hot water demand. Use the Bosch sizing tool for precise sizing.
Can it also cool?
Yes — heating + reversible cooling + hot water from a single unit. Cooling output is similar to the heating output. Underfloor heating works well in both modes (low water temperatures).
How is hot water produced?
Built-in 190 l domestic hot water cylinder in the outdoor unit, heated by the heat pump via an internal heating coil. An additional solar heating coil allows a solar thermal array to be integrated for even lower running costs.
How long is the warranty?
Bosch provides a 2-year standard manufacturer's warranty (extendable to 5–10 years on registration with Bosch service partners), with professional installation.
