The Bosch Ranges at a Glance

Bosch Compress 5800i / 7000 – heat pumps with R290 propane
Bosch was one of the first manufacturers to switch consistently to the natural refrigerant R290 (propane). The benefits: an extremely low global warming potential (GWP 3), future-proof against the tightening EU F-gas rules, and flow temperatures of up to 75 °C from the compressor alone (no immersion heater needed). The monoblock design avoids elaborate refrigerant pipework. Eligible under KfW programme 458 — the size of the grant depends on the programme conditions.

Bosch Tronic 3000T / 4000T / 8500i – electric boilers
Compact electric boilers from 2 kW (small flats, backup) up to 36 kW (apartment buildings, peak load). Proven heating elements, very low maintenance, long service life (20+ years). Ideal as a peak-load complement to a heat pump, as emergency heating, or in hybrid systems.

Bosch Condens 5700i / 7000 / 8000 – gas condensing boilers
High-efficiency gas condensing boilers for new builds and renovations. Efficiencies above 110 % (relative to net calorific value) thanks to consistent flue-gas condensation. Modern burners, a compact footprint and compatibility with the smart EasyControl system. Eligible for funding in hybrid systems with a heat pump.

Bosch Climate 3000i / 5000iU – air conditioners
Inverter split systems for private and commercial use. R-32 refrigerant, energy class up to A+++, WiFi control built in. The Climate 3000i is the economical all-rounder, the Climate 5000iU a four-way cassette for offices, practices and retail spaces.

Bosch Air 2000 / 4000 / 6000 – air purifiers
HEPA H13 air purifiers with activated carbon filtration. Air 2000 for rooms up to 50 m², Air 4000 up to 80 m², Air 6000 up to 130 m². App control, automatic air quality measurement, very quiet in night mode (below 30 dB).

Bosch EasyControl – smart heating control
Room thermostat with app control that learns your daily routine and optimises heating times. Compatible with Bosch heating systems and many third-party systems. Integrates with Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

Bosch Aqua 4000 S / 8000i S – water treatment
Water softeners that prevent limescale in pipes and the heating system. Salt tanks from 9 to 26 litres. Protects Bosch heating appliances from limescale deposits and measurably extends their service life.

Bosch Solar 4000 TF / 7000 TF – solar collectors
High-performance flat-plate collectors for domestic hot water and heating support. Can be combined with Bosch heat pumps for maximum self-supply.

Bosch F1100 / F1200 / F1300 – bathroom fans
Quiet bathroom fans with humidity sensor, timer function and backdraught shutter. Meet the German energy-saving requirements for modern new builds.

Why Bosch?

  • Future-proof: Bosch leads the field in R290 propane heat pumps – the EU plans stricter F-gas limits from 2030, and R290 is not affected
  • German quality: research and development in Wernau am Neckar, production in Europe, long service life (20+ years)
  • Service network in Germany: certified specialist companies nationwide and fast spare-parts supply
  • System integration: all Bosch appliances work together via EasyControl, Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa
  • Eligible for funding: heat pumps and hybrid systems qualify for KfW funding — the amount depends on the programme conditions

German Funding in 2026 for Bosch Heat Pumps

Replacing an oil or gas boiler with a Bosch Compress heat pump is funded through the KfW (no longer the BAFA since 2024). The grant consists of a basic amount plus several possible bonuses; how much you receive depends on your situation and on the KfW conditions in force at the time. Important: the application must be filed with the KfW BEFORE the work is commissioned — usually the installer does this together with you.

Delivery & Installation

Shipping within the EU is free — unfortunately we cannot deliver to islands. Items in stock usually arrive in approx. 4–6 business days, otherwise approx. 4–8 business days. Bosch appliances currently take approx. 8–11 business days. For units containing F-gas, the delivery time starts once we receive the certified-installer documents. For heat pumps, gas boilers and air conditioners, installation by a certified specialist company is required by law — please commission a company of your choice. Questions? FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about Bosch

Which Bosch heat pump suits my house?
For detached houses of 100–200 m², the Bosch Compress 5800i with 6–14 kW heat output is a good fit. For unrenovated older buildings with high flow temperatures, the Compress 7000 (up to 75 °C flow) is the better choice. We are happy to help with sizing.

What is the advantage of R290 propane?
R290 has a global warming potential of just GWP 3, compared with GWP 675 for R32 or GWP 2088 for the older R410A. That makes it future-proof against EU F-gas regulation. It also reaches higher flow temperatures without an immersion heater – ideal for renovation projects.

Bosch Tronic or Compress – which one fits?
Tronic is an electric boiler, ideal as a backup or peak-load complement. Compress is a heat pump, ideal as the main heating system with high efficiency and access to funding.

How long does a Bosch heating system last?
With professional installation and annual servicing, Bosch Compress heat pumps last 18–25 years, Condens gas boilers 15–20 years and Tronic electric boilers 20–25 years.

How is the warranty handled?
All units carry the statutory two-year warranty of conformity. Manufacturer guarantees may go beyond that — their terms are set by the manufacturer; ask us and we will tell you what applies to the specific model.

How much KfW funding is available?
The grant consists of a basic amount plus several bonuses; how much you receive depends on your situation and on the KfW conditions in force at the time. What matters most: the application has to be filed before the work is commissioned.
